Banane au chocolat

After an afternoon Roast and the long walk home, our bellies are feeling empty again! We've come home, lit a fire and now awaiting for les Banane au Chocolat!

The recipe:

Nutella
x2 Bananas
Foil
A spoon

Lay out the foil and use the spoon to cover a line of thick chocolate on the centre of the foil.

Cut the banana into thin round slices and place them on the nutella

Wrap the foil around them and squash it down

Place them in the freezer

Wait until it has solidated and place in the fridge for just a few minutes until the banana is no longer frozen

Remove from the fridge and enjoy!

Sunday of rain

We have done a superb journey through the Kent Village of the Year- Elham. It was a very romantic journey, through the historic countryside. We travelled through the atmospheric church garden where you experience a sense of solitude and peace.

We took a quiet drink and a Sunday Roast at The Rose and Crown Pub in Elham, situated opposite the characteristic Abbots Fireside Restaurant. We met a couple with their dogs, Bruce and Spencer. Wearing their wellies and their rain coats, well prepared for the English weather! How very organised, we we're wet and freezing!

The Abbots Fireside offers add's atmosphere and character to the village of Elham. Offering a taste of the Victorian lifestyle.
